It's been a busy past couple of weeks, gigging around Brighton! Of course living there makes it easier! Big thanks to all of you that have come along to support!

There will be several more updates to come but for now, here's a little video I made for "Those Were The Days", I was feeling a bit creative with alphabetti spaghetti! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have making it...and eating it! Yum!

I have also started writing a bunch of new songs!! So as I said, more upddaates heading your way soon!

I would just like to say a big thank you to Mike Anderson for all his hard work! A great producer and great friend who has really put a lot of faith into this project. I can officially confirm that this won't be the last time we work together! I can guarantee, in the future, we will be working together again!

A massively huge thank you to Steve Keen and Asa Concannon for their talent, it won't be the last time we hear from them either!

There have been a lot of people who have stood by me during the recording of this EP, I don't think I could have fully done this alone and I thank all of you who have made this EP possible!

The Hope, Brighton, 05/06/2013

Tonight I will be playing at one of my favourite venues ever! The Hope in Brighton! It's a charity gig for MacMillan Cancer. It's £5 entry and all for a good cause indeed!

I will also be selling copies of my debut EP, "My Father's Son" for £2 each and every penny will go towards the charity! See you tonight!!

Another quick update..

A couple of quick updates, so percussion has now been laid down by the fantastic Asa Concannon. It was really nice of him to come over to the studio to be a part of this EP. I remember meeting him from the days of his old band, Atra Cura, which also features Mike as the guitarist. Please also check out his new band, No One Man.

So everything for the new EP is now coming together, all the pieces are being put into place and The Bigger Picture will finally be revealed very soon! I am excited for everyone to hear it and so far, I am very proud of it. Mike has done a great job and I have had the pleasure of getting some great people such as Steve Keen and Asa involved too.

So the gig at St Pauls was a great success! Much monies was raised for St Barnabas! IT was an absolute pleasure to appear on the line up with other great artists such as Maria Henderson, Rachel Hawker, The Dopple Shift and The Flip Flays.

This Friday! I will be playing a charity gig in aid of St Barnabas! This Friday, 3rd of May at St Pauls, Chapel Road in Worthing! I will be supporting Rachel Hawker and The Flip Flays, as well as many other exciting artists! £7 on the door but trust me, it will be worth every penny! Let's do the maths...

The Bigger Picture will soon be revealed!

The wait is almost over! Finishing touches are currently being made and this EP will soon be complete! I can officially reveal that my cousin and very good friend, Steve Keen from the band Apertures who were formally known as, The Fusion. They are unfortunatley not together anymore but do check their music out anyway as they were an awesome band who I have had the pleasure of with! Steve came to the studio the other day to lay down some vocals on a couple of the tracks. All I can say is that it sounds amazing, I have always been a big fan of Steve's vocal work and to have him contribute his voice to this EP is extremely special to me! However, he may very well be making another appearance in the studio by the end of this month...we shall have to wait and see.

I can unofficially announce that my second EP will be available to download (for free, that's right £0!) next month! It has taken a while but I can assure you, it will be worth the wait!

In other news, I made another appearance at the Cube in Brighton, courtesy of my good friend, Matt Bonner. I arrived at the venue to be greeted with a surprise appearance from Mr Greg Mcpherson from the band Inme! And of course, straight after playing, was greeted by his lovely smile at the end of my set as he was playing after myself! So that would now be two members of Inme that I've had the pleasure of playing alongside of and what a special night that was indeed! And of course all of the artists that night were fantastic, a great line up of artists, Hadleigh Ford, Fire At Night and Joey Fincham! Please check these guys out!

Greg is not only a great guy but a great songwriter too and he is currently pledging his Second Album, Dreamoirs! Please by all means get onto his pledge music site here! You won't want to miss out!

New EP, updates, gigs, gigs and gigs!

Just a quick update, for the past couple of weeks I have been at my good friend, Mike Anderson's home studio working on my next and second EP. Guitars, vocal and harmonica have currently been recorded, all is sounding great so far! Mike is an absolute pleasure to work with, I honestly can't wait to get it finished for all of you to hear.
But all doesn't finish here, there is still a bit of work to be done! I have a couple of special guest to pop into the studio to provide some vocals and also some cello from another special guest of course too! All will be revealed very soon...updates will be posted soon and of course some sneaky peak videos too.

In the meantime, I am delighted to announce that I will be gracing my presence in Worthing for the Pangalactic Festival at Bar 42. I will be playing from 8pm on Thursday 28th March supporting my good buddy Matt Bonner as well as some other great artsits. Please also check out the other days, my good friends Neko will be playing on Saturday! This is a weekend you don't want to miss!

And then the next night, I will be back home in Brighton to play at Caps Bar on Friday 29th March! As presented by the fantastic Hush hush!

And just in...I will be playing The Cube in Brighton on Tuesday 9th April supporting Hadleigh Ford.

Hello 2013!

Happy "Belated" New Year everybody! 2013 has approached us! And to begin what I believe is going to be a great year, everything is coming together nicely for my next EP, "The Bigger Picture". There will be some special guests appearances, I cannot mention them for the time being but I can reveal that I will be in Mike Anderson's studio for the next month or so making finishing touches and the odd bit of experimenting with other instruments and tweaking here and there. Let's just say it's going to be a very interesting experience indeed!

A couple of weeks ago I played my very first show of 2013 supporting Matt Bonner. I will be playing my next show on Tuesday 5th February at The Cube in Brighton supporting Graces Collide! Please come on down, you may even hear some new tracks from my upcoming EP!

Merry Christmas and Goodbye 2012!

Well this has certainly been a rather eventful and busy year that has gone by so swiftly! But of course, this is only just the beginning, 2013 is going to be an exciting year! I have much planned and all will be revealed in the new year, video shoot, new EP and many more gigs to come!

I know I said in my last post that this would be my final blog of 2012 but of course, much to get off my chest before we wrap up 2012 before Christmas!

Firstly, a huge thanks once again to Gazz Marlow and Matt Bonner and Danny Dangerously and everyone involved with the past couple of Christmas shows in Brighton and Crawley. I always love Christmas shows and the Christmas ditties went down a treat indeed!

Secondly, for the past few weeks, I was answering a bunch of questions from Rock Britain, in the last week of this section last Friday, I was asked what my favourite albums were of 2012, I may have cheated slightly by saying a couple of EPs! Christmas Shows 2012!

It's that time of year again! Tis the season to be merry and to get into the Christmas spirit, I will of course be playing a couple of Christmassy shows. Did I say a couple?? Well to kick things off, I will be playing a small warm up set down The Cricketers in Worthing hosted by the lovely Chris Simmons.

I am pleased to announce that I will be kicking off the festivities at The Cube on Tuesday 18th December in Brighton supporting Gazz Marlow who is in the rock band INME. I am indeed very excited about this show, there will be other fantastic acoustic artists such as Matt Carpanini, Kane Le Lacheur, Paul Diello and Matt Bonner will also be providing musical interludes in between sets.
I myself will be providing the evening with a couple of Christmas ditties, I can't give away which songs I will be playing but if you want to find out...come down!
